
John Kranjc B.Sc., LL.B.
John Kranjc is a litigator with a practice area that includes both civil and commercial litigation. He has a particular interest in disputes involving the obligations of investment advisers, trustees, executors of estates and directors of corporations. Along with a general trial practice his work also involves solving a variety of will and estate issues, including the testator's capacity to make a will and undue influence by the beneficiaries.
John has extensive trial experience and has represented numerous litigants in the Ontario Superior Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal and has also argued matters before various administrative tribunals. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and is an active participant in the Hamilton Law Association.
John obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and then went on to graduate from the University of Toronto Law School in 1980. He skis, occasionally mountain bikes, and hikes the Bruce Trail. He is very active in fundraising for scholarships for needy students and continues to coach children's basketball with the HBA (Hamilton Basketball Association).
