Yolanta Lewis B.A., LL.B.

Yolanta is committed to assisting her matrimonial clients in resolving their matrimonial disputes through negotiations and using Collaborative Law. She also has extensive matrimonial litigation experience at both the trial and appellate levels. Prior to joining the firm in 1990, she was a partner in a Toronto firm. Since 1991, she has been a member of the child representation panel of the Office of the Children's Lawyer, representing children in custody-access and child protection proceedings in Hamilton.

She is a member of the Hamilton-Halton Collaborative Family Law Association, the Hamilton Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

Yolanta has volunteered her time in the Hamilton community by serving on the Board of Directors of Interval House of Hamilton-Wentworth, the Catholic Children's Aid Society of Hamilton, and the YWCA of Hamilton. She has been a member of Zonta International, a service organization of professional and business women since 2002. Yolanta received an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1974, her Bachelor of Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1977, and was called to the Bar in 1979.
